MPAC To Screen "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" on Friday, October 30

originally published: 10/14/2020

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The pandemic will likely make this year's Halloween very different from normal, but if you're looking for a place to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show you're in luck.  Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) will screen the cult classic on Friday, October 30 at 8:00pm. Admission is $20 and includes a goodie bag. The film, which stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick, follows the adventure of a newly-engaged couple who must seek shelter at the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-n-Furter after their car breaks down.

Patrons are encouraged to dress up and have fun! In our ongoing effort to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all, MPAC has carefully chosen the items they can allow this year for the goodie bags. Goodie Bag Items Include: Noisemaker (bat wing clapper), Confetti Popper, Party Hat, and a Glow Stick. Outside props will not be allowed.

MPAC is excited to begin welcoming patrons back in the theatre in a limited capacity. This event will be held with a maximum capacity of 150 patrons and will be seated with social distancing measures in place, per Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 183. Please click here to learn more about MPAC’s health and safety guidelines.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is located at 100 South Street in Morristown, New Jersey.  MPAC,  a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey.
