(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Center Players Dessert Theater will launch its online programming with a performance of The Music of Classic Broadway Composers, streaming Friday, July 3 at 8:00pm. Registration via email is required to experience this free event; go to www.centerplayers.org to access the link. The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

Featuring local duo Bethe Burns and Vic Schioppo, the performance will feature popular songs from beloved Broadway composers, including Rodgers and Hammerstein, Rodgers and Hart and Jule Styne. Bethe Burns is a renowned vocalist who performs a sultry blend of jazz, blues, pop, swing and standards across the east coast with Vic Schioppo, a nationally-recognized piano and keyboard player.   

Celebrating its 19th season at Center Playhouse, Center Players is a respected, award-winning organization, presenting high quality, engaging productions featuring local talent in downtown Freehold. In addition to their signature plays, the group also sponsors free play readings and other special events and offers dinner and theater packages with several local restaurants.
