McCarter Theatre Appoints Sarah Rasmussen As New Artistic Director

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre Center has announced the appointment of Sarah Rasmussen as its new artistic director, effective August 1, 2020. Rasmussen is currently artistic director of the Jungle Theater in Minneapolis, where she has gained national attention for bringing inclusive and bold stories, diverse talent, and gender parity to the stage.


New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts Offers Virtual Acting Classes For Kids, Tweens, Teens, and Adults

The New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts is offering virtual acting classes online via ZOOM.  There are classes for kids, tweens, teens, and adults.  Complete schedules and courses offered can be found on their website.

STREAM {Hurricane of Change} is the hugely successful and brand new one-man rock theatre show from Alarm singer Mike Peters. Described by respected UK theatre producer Phil Clark as a cross between The Who’s Quadrophenia and Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood, STREAM {Hurricane of Change} will be debuted in North America this summer.


State Theatre New Jersey Announces FLEX Tickets

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey announces State Theatre New Jersey FLEX TICKETS. The stage is currently silent, but the theater is busy behind the scenes planning for the day it will once again be able to present the world-class talent its audiences have come to expect. The theater remains steadfast in its commitment to provide a place of entertainment, laughter, inspiration, and relief. In order to continue to engage its patrons and offer incentive for returned attendance when the theater re-opens, State Theatre has created a new ticket program called FLEX TICKETS.


Outpost in the Burbs Announces Virtual Concert Series For Thursdays & Saturdays

Jazz Concert at Trenton City Museum will Feature the Joe Baione Vibraphone Experience

(TRENTON, NJ) -- Trenton City Museum will present a free jazz concert Friday, July 18, 2025 at the museum's Ellarslie Mansion in Cadwalader Park. Featuring world-renowned vibraphonist Joe Baione, the Joe Baione Vibraphone Experience is the first group to perform in a series of jazz events leading up to the museum's 2026 TRENTON MAKES JAZZ exhibition, in collaboration with the City of Trenton.
