Grooves Unlimited Dance Studio launches Online Learning Studio

originally published: 04/14/2020

(LIVINGSTON, NJ) --  Grooves Unlimited Dance Studio has launched Online Learning Studio to keep kids dancing at home. Offering the highest quality Hip-Hop and Tap Dance training in the North Jersey area, Grooves Unlimited Dance Studio was serving approximately 350 Groovers on a weekly basis before they closed their doors on March 13, 2020.

Grooves Unlimited Online Learning Studio was launched just six days later on March 19, 2020, and with a mix of pre-recorded tutorials and live classes on Zoom, Grooves Unlimited has found the perfect solution to bring dance classes to their Groovers from afar.

Grooves Unlimited energizes their Groovers to own their stage by igniting a passion for Hip-Hop, Tap Dance and all Street Dance Culture and now their students’ stage has become their kitchen, backyard and living room.

“As artists and educators, we feel that it’s our job to be there for our Groovers, to let them know that this is a temporary situation and that we will all make it through together,” saying Hillary-Marie Atkinson, Co-Director.

Their Online Learning Studios includes live-streamed classes on Zoom supported by pre-recorded videos on demand, “By offering this mixed format of live and pre-recorded videos, we are ensuring that our Groovers stay connected with their Dance Family while receiving the highest quality possible dance education online,” says Shani Alston, Co-Director.

They are the only dance studio in the U.S. to focus solely on Hip-Hop and Tap with fully developed programs dedicated to the technique, history and culture of these art forms and now they are offering Hip-Hop and Tap classes to children, teens and adults of all ages and levels online.

Grooves Unlimited has called Livingston home for the last 7 years and with their Online Learning Studio, they will keep the local community moving and grooving from afar. For more details on how you can join the Grooves Unlimited Dance Family, visit their website.
