Holmdel Theatre Company Wants Your #RENTStory

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Fredi Walker-Browne, the original JoAnne Jefferson in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical RENT, is bringing #RENTStories to Holmdel Theatre Company on May 8th and your story could be a part of it! If RENT has impacted your life in some way, there's no day but today to tell your #RENTStory. The deadline is Wednesday, February 19th at 11:59pm.

#RENTStories is a play comprised of monologues derived from real stories of people around the world whose lives were profoundly and positively affected by their experience with the musical RENT. Created by RENT alum Fredi Walker-Browne, inspired by and featuring music from Jonathon Larson's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical RENT, this "living" piece weaves the personal #RENTStories into the tale, creating a new and unique experience every time it is performed.

THE RULES: Completely fill out every portion of the submission form to submit your #RENTStory. One submission per person. The deadline is Wednesday, February 19th at 11:59pm.

Chosen #RENTStory entrants will be notified via email.

#RENTStories will be performed at Holmdel Theatre Company at the Duncan Smith Theater on May 8th, 2020 at 8:00pm. The theatre is located at 36 Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel, New Jersey.
