(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Pink Cadillac Club, Washington DC’s only all Springsteen DJ night will make its debut at The Saint in Asbury Park to help celebrate Bruce Springsteen's 70th birthday on Monday, September 23 from 6:00pm to close. It's a night for Springsteen fans to celebrate the man and his music.
In 1985, fresh from backpacking across Europe and following Springsteen’s Born in the USA tour, Backstreets Magazine contributor Bob Zimmerman began the Pink Cadillac Club every Monday night at Annie’s on the corner of M St. and Wisconsin Ave in Georgetown. The club was an immediate hit turning slow Monday nights into a regular packed house. The Pink Cadillac Club was based on Los Angeles’ Boss Club and proved a powerful formula in the town where Springsteen started at the Childe Harold in December 1973 and worked his way to RFK Stadium in August 1985.
"Everything dies, baby that’s a fact / Baby everything that dies, someday comes back" -- Bruce Springsteen, "Atlantic City"

He's been known to see a few shows in the club from time to time. Tickets are available online for $12. Doors are at 5:30pm. Bring your cardboard request signs, noisemakers, and birthday hats because it's going to be a party!
