(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- iPlay America is partnering with JerseyShoreCountry.com and Renegade Radio to host the first-ever Music City Showcase, an eight-week country music competition where unsigned artists and groups from around the state will compete for the opportunity to perform live on country music’s biggest stage during CMA Fest 2019 in Nashville, TN this June.

Those interested in competing must be 18 years of age or older, be able to travel to Nashville from June 6 to 9 and perform on designated nights at iPlay America, and submit a video performing two songs. To enter, visit www.JerseyShoreCountry.com. Rules and regulations apply. JerseyShoreCountry.com and Renegade Radio will determine eligibility and select competitors. Deadline to enter is February 22.

Starting on March 7, three acts will perform each Thursday for a chance to win the opportunity of a lifetime – a live performance at The Valentine on Broadway in Nashville during CMA Fest. Each night, one act will be chosen to move on to the semifinals held on March 28 and April 25. One finalist will be selected at each semifinal performance to compete in the finale on May 2, with a performance by John Schneider, star of Dukes of Hazards.

Contestants will be judged not only on their musical abilities and talent, but also on their stage presence, professionalism, sound and song appeal and fan response. Industry professionals from Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group, a music business consultancy, along with celebrity guests will make up the judges panel each week. Guests and fans alike can enjoy musical guest appearances from America Idol contestant and top 10 finalist, Bucky Covington on night one and Celeste Kellogg, a Nashville top recording artist, on April 11.

Entrance into the showcase event each Thursday and the finale on May 2 is free. Each night, doors will open at 6:00 PM with performances beginning at 7:00 PM. Links to download event tickets are available online.
