(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College presents "Songs of Economic Hardship: Woody Guthrie and the Great Depression" on Monday, October 9, from 1:00pm-2:20pm. The event, which is free of charge, will be held in the Nash Theatre at the RVCC’s Branchburg campus.
Acclaimed New York City actor Randy Noojin stars as Woody Guthrie in a multimedia program featuring archival footage of the Great Depression. The one-man show will be followed by a question-and-answer session. All seating will be located on stage.
Sponsored by the College’s Humanities, Social Science and Education Department as well as RVCCArts, the program is part of the “Music as a Mirror on History” series.
Raritan Valley Community College’s main campus is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, NJ.
