(WAYNE, NJ) -- This winter, Aspire Performing Arts Company will partner with Music Theatre International (MTI) and iTheatrics on an exciting opportunity for students in grades 2-8: a pilot production of Mary Poppins Jr.

Aspire PAC will be one of the first theatre companies to produce Mary Poppins Jr. in order to assist MTI and iTheatrics as they fine-tune the script and music for future release.

Based on Mary Poppins, the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical that delighted audiences for more than 2,500 performances, Mary Poppins Jr. tells the story of everyone’s favorite nanny, who advises that “anything can happen if you let it.”

Randi Seffinger will serve as Director of Mary Poppins Jr. Lisa Beth Vettoso, Aspire PAC’s Artistic Director, will act as Co-Director, Choreographer, and Producer of the project. Ms. Vettoso is also the Director of Education for The New York Pops, and has dedicated more than 15 years of her life to arts education.

“We are thrilled to be working with MTI and iTheatrics on this pilot production of Mary Poppins Jr.,” says Ms. Vettoso. “As both a director and educator, it is exciting to be part of the development process as well as to introduce the next generation to this timeless story."
