KIDZ BOP Tour Rolls Into Red Bank

originally published: 10/28/2015

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The KIDZ BOP "Make Some Noise" tour will make a stop at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank on Sunday, November 8 at 3:00pm.  Featuring Ashlynn Chong, Bredia Santoro, Grant Knoche and Matt Martinez, the group performs family-friendly versions of today’s biggest hits in this energetic and interactive live show.  KIDZ BOP fans will also get a special sneak peak of the new music video from Build-A-Bear Workshop’s Honey Girls at the show.  Tickets range from $19 to $60.

It's a return home for Matt Martinez of North Bergen, NJ.  The 12 year-old was chosen out of thousands of kids from around the country to audition for KIDZ BOP in a nationwide casting call.  The kids all sing on the KIDZ BOP albums, which were named the #1 Kids Artist by Billboard Magazine for five straight years (2010-2014). The KIDZ BOP Kids also perform more than 25 live shows each year.

Matt’s dream is to become a Hollywood director, and he gets a lot of practice in when he’s home. He loves breaking out the camera to direct movies, which he writes and edits, with his brother, Michael.  Performing in the arts runs in his family as his mother is a dance teacher and his father is a professional drummer. You can follow him on tour through his Instagram and Twitter feeds.

The Count Basie Theatre is located at 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, NJ.

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- This spring, Arden Children's Theatre invites families into a hilariously twisted world where classic fairy tales don't go quite as expected in its next production of the 2025/26 season, The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (The Stinky Cheese Man). Based on the beloved book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, adapted by John Glore, the production brings the book's fractured fairy tales to life for kids and adults alike. Directed by Steve Pacek, the production runs on the Arden’s Arcadia stage with previews starting April 8, opening night on April 18, with performances running through May 31.
