(VOORHEES, NJ) -- Have what it takes to get applause (or laughs) from a crowd? Want to prove that your singing skills extend beyond the shower? Then sign up for Voorhees Theatre Company’s Open Mic Night, May 26, from 6:00pm-8:30pm, at the Atrium in Voorhees Town Center, outside of the former Macy’s.
Ages from 6th grade to 25 are invited to put on their best performance in front of the crowd, whether their forte is singing, stand-up comedy or dramatic reading. There’s no contest, no judging, just an evening of great fun, amateur talent and maybe a discovery or two. Performers are required to register in advance, as time is limited, and they can do so at http://voorheestheatre.org/events/. Cost is $5 for both performers and attendees.
Voorhees Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) community theatre organization. VTC’s mission is to offer performance and educational opportunities to artists on stage and behind the scenes and to bring audiences professional-caliber performances within and beyond the walls of the theatre. Our organization is well known for educating and nurturing young performers and for offering performance and theatre opportunities to local artists of all ages.
