The Newton Theatre Presents A New Musical: The Little Mermaid

The Newton Theatre Presents A New Musical: The Little Mermaid

(NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents an all new musical, The Little Mermaid, on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 1:30pm and 4:30pm. This is the beloved tale of The Little Mermaid brought to life in a brand new production. This adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s classic story brings to the stage a fantastic, funny and exciting interactive show with lots of singing and dancing.

It follows the dreams of a young girl who believes there is something more for her out of the water. Of course there’s a handsome prince, an evil baddie and a lot of laughs along the way.

Together with stunning scenery, eye-catching costumes, original and current hit songs and audience participation, this show makes for a thoroughly entertaining family day out.

Tickets for The Little Mermaid range from $12 to $15. Purchase tickets by visiting www.thenewtontheatre.com or contact the Box Office at 973-383-3700.

The historic Newton Theatre, located at 234 Spring Street in Newton, NJ, was founded in 1924. Revitalized and fully renovated, Sussex County’s premier entertainment venue reopened in 2011 as a 605 seat capacity live performing arts center. With it’s rich history and diverse programming The Newton Theatre is essential to the buoyancy of New Jersey’s Skylands region.

Skylands Performing Arts Center, a 501(c)3 corporation, is dedicated to providing programs that educate, entertain and inspire all audiences regardless of ethnicity, age or income level.
