(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Rutgers Theater Company presents Henry IV from April 20–28 in the Phillip J. Levin Theater. The play by William Shakespeare has been adapted into a three-act play by Dakin Matthews, which will be directed by Michael Sexton.
“Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.” The first year of the new king’s reign is not going well—rebellion is brewing, loyalties are shifting, and the heir to the throne is keeping company with scoundrels and thieves. As the country is plunged into civil war, leadership, relationships, and personal ethics are tested and forfeited.
Performances are on Friday, April 20 (SOLD OUT), Saturday, April 21 (SOLD OUT), and Wednesday, April 25–Saturday, April 28 at 7:30pm; Sunday, April 22 at 2:00pm (SOLD OUT). Tickets for remaining performances are $25 for the public; $20 for Seniors/Rutgers Alumni and Employees; and $15 for Students.
