(RINGOES, NJ) -- Old York Cellars is hosting their Vine to Wine Spring Festival, which, in celebration of a new growing season, will feature live music, food trucks, vineyard and beehive tours, craft vendors, and other family-friendly activities at their 25-acre winery in scenic Ringoes, NJ in Hunterdon County. The festival takes place on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th from noon to 5:00pm.
Each day of the festival features a different musical act with The Eastern Hellbenders performing Saturday and JJ Lynch Band on Sunday. In addition to musical entertainment, there will be menus available from four local food trucks: wood-fired pizzas from Fired Up Flatbread, juicy burgers and zesty tacos from Good Mood = Good Food, gourmet grilled cheeses from Cheezen, and Latin sandwiches and empanadas from Latin Bites. Laurie’s Chocolates of Doylestown will be offering their hand-made confections for guests seeking something sweet to nibble on.
Festival tickets include a complimentary wine tasting and a full selection of dry, sweet, off-dry, and dessert wines will be available to sample and purchase by the glass or bottle. A special sweet wine tent will be set up for guests who want to try a unique selection of dessert wines. There will be slushies made with a special recipe of Old York Cellars wine. Guests are invited to enjoy their food and beverages in the outdoor picnic area facing the stunning vista of the vineyard backed by the Sourland Mountain range. Additional attractions include Tank & Barrel Tastings with award-winning Winemaker Scott Gares, Winery Tours with Assistant Winemaker Matt Siegrist, Beehive Tours revealing the fascinating lives of the little workers who make Old York Cellars Raw Honey, and shopping with local craft vendors including House of Corks Hand Bags and Nowell Art Glass.
