Music Mountain Theatre Presents "A Christmas Carol"

originally published: 11/29/2019

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre presents A Christmas Carol weekends from November 29 to December 15 with performanceas Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm.  A Christmas Carol is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens' most well-known story.

Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving. But, on Christmas Eve,  he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

This musical proved its staying power with a decade-long run at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden, and a holiday tradition at Music Mountain Theatre for the tenth year in a row. The production features music by  Alan Menken, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Mike Ockrent & Lynn Ahrens.

The cast includes David Whiteman as Ebenezer Scrooge; Louis Palena as Bob Cratchit; Finn Grushow as Tiny Tim; Jill Gibilsco as Ghost of Christmas Past; David McCloughan as Ghost of Christmas Present; Allison McMullen as Ghost of Christmas Future; and Sharon Rudda as Ghost of Christmas Future.
