(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- School groups from grades 6 through 12 may reserve spots for “Bollywood Boulevard: A Journey Through Hindi Cinema Live” on the main stage of the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts in Toms River. The free shows, at 10:00am or 11:30am on Monday, April 8, are part of the Schools ‘n’ Stage program.
Lights. Camera. Action. Lose yourself in the world of Bollywood through live music, dance, and multimedia with “Bollywood Boulevard.” Witness the spirit, artistry, and history of India’s famous film industry from the classics of the black and white era and the timeless songs of Bollywood’s Golden Era to the foot-tapping blockbusters of today. Experience Bollywood as never before, inspired by the music of R.D. Burman, Lata Mangeshkar, and A.R.Rahman; the dance moves of superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra; and romance as captured by Raj Kapoor and Yash Raj Chopra. Bollywood Boulevard will have you falling in love with the vibrance, emotions, and heart-pounding beat that inspires the world’s largest entertainment industry.
