April is Haddonfield Sculpture Month: Join the festivities each Saturday for free family fun. Tour nearly 20 figurative and abstract sculptures, meet the artists, see previews and installations of new sculptures, shop at a Pop-Up DinoStore celebrating “Haddy,” our famous Hadrosaurus foulkii, dedication of the new “Ballerina” by Barry Woods Johnston, and more.
Highlight of the month will be the unveiling of the new Children’s Sculpture Zoo on April 27, which is the 5th annual International Sculpture Day, celebrated by artists, organizations and institutions around the world. Updates and more photos can be found online.
The Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust (HOST) is a nonprofit public/private arts initiative populating downtown Haddonfield with more than 20 contemporary and traditional outdoor sculptures, both permanent and rotational, since 2015. The Trust receives no public funds and is funded through private and corporate donors. For more about HOST follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
