Adelphi Orchestra To Present Virtual Reality Concert On March 20th

(RIVER EDGE, NJ) -- The Adelphi Orchestra continues its 67th Season of "Music for All" with a live immersive 360 degrees performance of Antoni Vivaldi's:  Four Seasons with featured soloist Laura Hamilton on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00pm.  The program also includes Vivaldi's  Concerto for Flute in G minor, Op. 10 no 2/RV 439 "La Notte".

Produced by Musae In association with St. John's and Denise Marsa Productions, this concert will be broadcast live in both HD and 360° virtual reality so audiences can enjoy a completely immersive experience.

Viewing is by donation only and you can get your tickets on Musae.  Ticket levels are: $5 — I Just Need to Smile Right Now; $15 – Fan of Adelphi Orchestra; $25* – Friend of Adelphi Orchestra;  $50* – Supporter of Adelphi Orchestra; $100* – Patron of Adelphi Orchestra.

There is an early bird special: Get a Friend, Supporter, or Patron ticket by March 16th, and Musae will send you a basic VR headset for free. While you do not need a headset to enjoy the performance, it will enhance your experience.

If you're struggling due to the pandemic, please contribute what you can - if you're able to contribute more, to help someone else pay less, please do! Upon ticket purchase you will receive a link and can watch on any device — phone, tablet, computer, tv, or VR headset — and you will also have indefinite access to watch anytime after the live broadcast.

The Adelphi Orchestra launches its 67th Season of “Music for All” and remains Northern New Jersey’s longest, continuously performing orchestra. The Adelphi Orchestra presents concerts featuring beloved classical works of symphonic, chamber, operatic, and dance music performed by accomplished national and international guest soloists and distinguished conductors. The Orchestra is currently under the direction of Maestro Richard Owen. For the past 16 years the Adelphi Orchestra has sponsored a Young Artist Competition and presented Young Artist Concerts throughout New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. The Adelphi Orchestra has been honored by the New Jersey State Legislature for the orchestra’s ongoing commitment to Northern New Jersey audiences and by our peers, earning their nomination for 6 consecutive years for Jersey Arts People’s Choice Award in the Favorite Orchestra/Symphony Division.
