The Long Branch Arts Council kicked off the Urban Canvas Project in early August with the help of Inspired Life Studios' curator/owner, Chris Murphy. The artists in the show include Jason Sisino, Lee Alston, Andrew Ricci, Leon Rainbow, Jonathan Conner, members of the Albus Cavus Group, Ronnie Jackson, and Rev.Chris Murphy, herself. This is an ongoing project, that will eventually cover 50 abandoned buildings on Lower Broadway, as an attempt to bring beauty and culture with a modern "edge", to an otherwise dilapidated area. Sipperstein's Paints helped make this possible by generously donating all the paint and materials that all of the artists are using for the project. This show, hosted by Inspired Life Studios, is just a taste of the great things to come in Long Branch!
