Live Nation Germany Acquires Goodlive

originally published: 09/20/2022

On September 20, 2022, Live Nation GSA announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Goodlive GmbH, the festival, booking and services agency headquartered in Berlin.  The acquisition was made from Paragon Partners and Goodlive’s founders.

Goodlive GmbH is renowned for its holistic and distinctive event experiences such as Splash Festival in Ferropolis or Superbloom Festival (pictured) in Munich. The strength of Goodlive GmbH’s brands, alongside the quality of the tour booking, festival production and service teams, will enrich Live Nation’s existing portfolio offering ideal opportunities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Goodlive and its management will continue to focus on their brands while working with the Live Nation teams to develop festival and live experiences in partnership.

“We are happy that Goodlive GmbH and its management team Marko Hegner and Mirko Roßner have decided to become part of the Live Nation family,” says Live Nation GSA Managing Director Andre Lieberberg.  “The strength of the Goodlive GmbH organization and its staff, as well as the undisputed relevance of its projects, perfectly complement Live Nation GSA’s portfolio. I look forward to the upcoming collaboration with Goodlive and am very confident that we will realize new and exciting projects together.”

“We are so pleased to have Live Nation as our future partner. Through their international network they are an ideal fit for Goodlive. We have already worked together successfully in the past at festivals such as Lollapalooza Berlin and are delighted to now be able to expand this cooperation on all levels. It is with great anticipation that we are looking forward to the future and our joint projects,” says Mirko Roßner, Managing Director Goodlive GmbH.

New Jersey's high priests of swamp rock, Reese Van Riper, return with The American Dream, a five-song fever dream that drags the myth of Americana through a backwoods dive bar and leaves it bleeding on the floor. The new EP is a tongue-in-cheek, gut-punching journey through Middle America's darkest corners — equal parts patriotic nightmare and protest hymn. Appropriately, the EP was released on July 4th.
