Lewis Black: Off The Rails

Saturday, November 19, 2022 @ 8:00pm

Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC)
30 North Van Brunt Street, Englewood, NJ 07631

Lewis Black is one of the most prolific and popular performers working today. His live performances provide a cathartic release of anger and disillusionment for his audience. He is a passionate performer who is a more pissed-off optimist than a mean-spirited curmudgeon. Lewis is the rare comic who can cause an audience to laugh themselves into incontinence while making compelling points about the absurdity of our world.

Black hits the trifecta of stand-up comedy, acting, and writing brilliance. He continues as the longest running contributor to Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, holds two GRAMMY Awards for Best Comedy Album, and not to mention, a bestselling author. In addition to several nationally broadcasted comedy specials, Black performed eight sell-out shows of his one-man act “Running on Empty” on Broadway. Most recently, he voiced the character “Anger” in the Academy Award winning film from Pixar, “Inside Out.”
