The Ladies of Laughter return with a line-up of funny headlining comediennes, hosted by longtime beloved Record humor columnist and standup veteran Bill Ervolino.

2018 National Ladies of Laughter Professional Winner, Erin Jackson
In addition to being the 2018 Ladies of Laughter Professional winner, this Hackensack resident can be seen nightly in many of New York City's top comedy clubs, and recently made her late-night television debut on "CONAN." She was a semifinalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” and has also performed her stand-up on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live,” OWN’s “Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious,” and TV Guide Network’s “Standup in Stilettos.” Erin co-hosted three seasons of “Exhale,” a panel talk series on the ASPiRE television network, and has appeared on MSNBC, NFL Network, truTV, VH-1 and TV Guide Network as a panelist on numerous sports and pop-culture shows.
Englewood Resident & Past Show Favorite, Marion Grodin
For the last decade, Marion Grodin has been one of the hottests comis in the country. She is a favorite at New York City’s top clubs, including Standup NY and Gotham Comedy Club where she regularly headlines. As one of the country’s top emcees, Marion’s incredible ability to improvise has allowed her to master the art of talking with the audience. She has toured with Linda Rondstadt, opened for Lewis Black, Judy Gold and Robert Klein.
2012 National Ladies of Laughter Professional Winner, Robin Fox
Winner of the 2012 Ladies of Laughter Competition, Bridgewater resident, Robin Fox spent 17 years as a full-time mom and dieting. Then one day, Robin gave up dieting and decided to make her life long dream of being a comedian a reality. Today she is happier than she can ever remember and will never look back! Original and funny, she talks from her heart about the frustrations of suburban living, marriage, and raising a family. No longer is she willing to just be the funniest mom on her New Jersey cul-de-sac. This New Jersey mom is now a regular on the comedy scene playing at the top clubs in NYC and surrounding areas and is a favorite in the national Ladies of Laughter Tour.
Contest Favorite, Sara Contreras
“A Ladies of Laughter Competition stand-out, and known as the original “Latin Divas of Comedy,” on Showtime, this long-time Teaneck resident, continues to be a comedic showstopper at comedy clubs and theaters across the country. An acclaimed writer and actress, Sara regards her performance as part of a comedy tour to Iraq/Kuwait in 2011, as the most rewarding experience of her professional life.
2018 Contest Favorite, Erin Maguire
Erin Maguire wowed the crowd in the 2018 Ladies of Laughter competition at Bergen PAC last year which is why this Maplewood, NJ resident has been invited to be part of the 2019 National Ladies of Laughter Tour. She is a favorite at major New York City comedy institutions, like Caroline’s and Gotham Comedy Club.
Past Finalist at Caesars, Maureen Langan
Maureen Langan was a Finalist in the inaugural Ladies of Laughter competition held at Caesars Atlantic City Casino and since then has been a popular comic at comedy clubs and theaters nationwide. Her one-woman show, “Daughter of a Garbage man,” which chronicles her 1970’s upbringing in New Jersey, has received rave reviews in at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Irish Writers Festival and at theaters in San Francisco, Nantucket and Florida.
The First NJ’s Funniest Female Returns
Long time Teaneck resident, and the original 1998 NJ’s Funniest Female, Micki Shilan, will return to the Bergen PAC with her own original take on current politics.
