Imagine Dragons, Macklemore and Kings Elliot to Perform in Camden and Holmdel

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- Multi platinum Grammy award winning rock band Imagine Dragons have announced 20 new shows on their massive Mercury World Tour, including a pair in New Jersey. Produced by Live Nation, the summer North American tour celebrates the release of their latest album, Mercury – Act 1 (KIDinaKORNER / Interscope). Imagine Dragons, along with special guests Macklemore and Kings Elliot will come to the Waterfront Music Pavilion in Camden on Tuesday, August 16th and the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Thursday, August 18th.

12th Annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges to take place June 24-26 in Augusta

(AUGUSTA, NJ) -- Rock & Roll royalty will take center stage at this year’s Rock, Ribs & Ridges music and food festival. Three Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees --- Dave Mason, legendary singer-songwriter Don Felder, and Artimus Pyle --- will be joined by Country Rock pioneer Jim Messina at the 12th annual Rock, Ribs & Ridges festival presented by Franklin Sussex Auto Mall from June 24-25-26 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ.

Nice and Easy Chat with Frank Sinatra Scholars in Avon-By-The-Sea

(AVON-BY-THE-SEA, NJ) -- A swingin’ nice and easy special event, featuring the music of Frank Sinatra, is being presented by producer Karen Morris of Sand Castle Communications on Sunday, May 1, 2022, beginning promptly at 12:30pm until 3:00pm, at The Avon Marina Building, 2 Main Street, Avon-By-The-Sea. The theme of the event is Nice 'n’ Easy, which is also the title of a 1960 album and song made popular by Frank Sinatra. 

Buddy Guy to Perform at Wellmont Theater

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- The Wellmont Theater presents Buddy Guy on Wednesday, April 6.  He's one of the most celebrated blues guitarists of his generation (arguably the most celebrated), possessing a sound and style that embodies the traditions of classic Chicago blues while also embracing the fire and flash of rock & roll. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm.

Willie Nelson, Family & Friends bring Outlaw Music Festival to Camden

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- Willie Nelson, Mark Rothbaum, Keith Wortman, Blackbird Presents, Live Nation, and the Outlaw Music Festival Tour are heading back on the road again. Willie will be live and in concert with his family and friends, including Willie Nelson & Family, Chris Stapleton, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Billy Strings, ZZ Top, Gov’t Mule, Brothers Osborne, Zach Bryan, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Allison Russell, Charley Crockett, Larkin Poe, The War and Treaty, Brittney Spencer, Particle Kid and more as part of the 20+ stop tour starting this summer.  The tour comes to the Waterfront Music Pavilion in Camden on Friday, September 23rd.

Due to a death in the family, the "Sound Bites" weekly column has ben postponed for this week. However, the listings of live music and entertainment are enclosed; we shall return on Thursday May 7 which happens to be the same day as the monthly "Rock On Radio" Happy Hour at the Nottingham Tavern located at 9 Mercer Street in Hamilton Square, NJ with music by Carmen Marranco.
