Pollyanna to Celebrate Release of "Slime" at House of Independents

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Pollyanna is a four piece New Jersey band consisting of power-pop, bubble grunge and punk influences. They will celebrate the release of their latest album, Slime, with a hometown show at House of Independents in Asbury Park on Friday, July 8th before hitting the road on tour. The lineup for the show includes Jhariah, Latewaves, Fox Teeth, and Range Life.

The Dollyrots to Play shows in NY/NJ/PA in July

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- After a successful spring tour run of the Midwest with The Von Tramps and tearing it up in Europe with Bowling for Soup and Lit, the Dollyrots are revived and road-ready for a Summer tour with stops on the East USA and Fall dates on the West Coast. Locally, the tour comes to The Saint in Asbury Park on July 14; Bowery Electric in NY on July 15; Debonair Music Hall in Teaneck on July 19; and Milk Boy in Philadelphia on July 20.

Make Music Day Returns to Englewood on June 21st

(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- After making waves with its inaugural event in 2021, Make Music Englewood returns to ring in the summer with free concerts throughout the city as part of worldwide Make Music Day, a day of music celebrated in 120 countries around the world each June 21st.

Mary J. Blige to Perform in Philly, Newark, and Atlantic City

(NEWARK, NJ) -- One of Time magazine's icons listed in "The 100 Most Influential People of 2022" and the recipient of the 2022 "Billboard ICON Award," the undisputed Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, announces her Good Morning Gorgeous tour presented by Hologic in partnership with The Black Promoters Collective (BPC). GRAMMY Award-winning and Oscar-nominated Blige will perform in 23 cities with special guests, platinum-selling, GRAMMY Award-winning artist Ella Mai and platinum-selling rising star Queen Naija.  Locally, the tour comes to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on September 22; the Prudential Center in Newark on October 23rd, and Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on October 29.

Malibu to Celebrate Release of Their Debut Album at House of Independents

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey alt rock band, Malibu, is set to release their debut album Lenses on July 1, 2022. After nearly five years since forming at Monmouth University, Malibu has finally finished their landmark album. With the help of Telegraph Hill Records producer Joe Pomarico, the Malibu boys have crafted a ten song album that shows a level of growth in songwriting and production surpassing their Dangerous Valentine EP days.
