Hi-Tide Recordings presents Summer Holiday 2022

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- After a 2 year hiatus, New Jersey-based “Surf, Lounge & Exotic Sounds” record label Hi-Tide Recordings has announced dates, music lineup & general on sale for Hi-Tide Summer Holiday: Asbury Park. The event returns August 19-21, 2022 to Asbury Lanes & The Asbury.

Shovels & Rope to perform at Asbury Lanes

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Acclaimed rock duo Shovels & Rope is on tour in support of their critically acclaimed new album Manticore. The tour comes to Asbury Lanes on Friday, August 12th.  Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm. 

Grunin Center presents "Ice-Cold Facts with Ice-T"

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Rapper, actor, producer, author and speaker Ice-T will bring his Ice-Cold Facts to the Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College on Tuesday, September 20 at 6:30pm. Ice-T will discuss overcoming adversity and share the life lessons that helped him not just to survive, but to thrive. The Ocean County College Foundation presents this as part of the Blauvelt Lecture Series. Tickets are $15. 

Asbury Lanes presents The Commodores

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Music icons and Motown legends, the Commodores, are coming to Asbury Park for a one-night-only show on Friday, September 2nd at Asbury Lanes. With 10 Grammy nominations, 1 Grammy Award and over 75 million albums sold worldwide, the Commodores are an American funk and soul band with hits including "Easy", "Three Times a Lady", and "Brick House".

MPAC presents Gavin DeGraw

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Multi-platinum and GRAMMY® nominated recording artist Gavin DeGraw brings his “Face The River Tour” to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Friday, August 26 at 8:00pm. Tickets range from$109-$49.

Due to a death in the family, the "Sound Bites" weekly column has ben postponed for this week.
