Grunin Center presents Sixtiesmania on Saturday
(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Sixtiesmania will take over the Jay & Linda Grunin Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 5, 2024 when the dynamic tribute band presents "A Journey Through the Sixties" with shows at 3:00pm & 8:00pm. Covering all the great groups and songs that became an iconic backdrop to that turbulent decade, Sixtiesmania takes the audience on a musical roller coaster ride from the Beatles to The Beach Boys and everything in between, including the British Invasion, the California sounds, Carnaby Street, the Vietnam tour of duty, Flower Power, Woodstock and so much more.
Dueling Pianist, Who Performed on "Don't Forget the Lyrics" with Host Wayne Brady, to Play at The Community Chest's Shake Rattle and Roll Fall Celebration
(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Shake, Rattle & Roll Dueling Pianos, New York City's longest running all request Rock 'n Roll party, is coming to northern New Jersey to perform in The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County's Fall Celebration on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Dueling pianists, Mark Weisner and Rob Carroll, will present an evening of live piano music, comedy, and cabaret at the Englewood Field Club (341 Engle Street) in Englewood from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Weisner performed for several years on the FOX TV show, Don't Forget the Lyrics, with host Wayne Brady.

"A little bit of all of it; the perpetual state of making music," laughed guitarist Carolyn Wonderland as she discussed her songwriting, her fascination with blues music from a young age, bail money and much more before her upcoming appearance with Shelley King and Cindy Cashdollar on October 6 at The Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton, NJ. "On this trip, I'm teaching at the Masters of the Telecaster camp upstate. So, since I'm there, me, Shelley King and Cindy Cashdollar decided; why not do a couple of shows? So, it's just the three of us, we're gonna have ourselves a good time; you'll hear some of my songs, some of Shelley's songs, she's got a new record too and of course Cindy; my God, every day is better with Cindy."
