Foggy Otis releases "Waiting To Feel The Sun"
Foggy Otis plays the uke but that wasn’t always the case. After a life-threatening illness took away his ability to fret a guitar, Foggy never expected to play music again. An artery was harvested from his left wrist during emergency heart surgery, resulting in a crippling numbness from wrist to thumb. An avid guitarist since childhood, this left a void in Foggy’s life.
New Jersey Jazz Society Launches New Scholarship Competition
The New Jersey Jazz Society has launched its new Juried Scholarship Competition 2022. This competition will award a $1,000 prize in each of two categories: Classic Jazz and Original Composition. The competition is open to all college students currently enrolled in a New Jersey college undergraduate music program.
The Lumineers will Play Holmdel and Camden On 2022 North American Tour
The Lumineers BRIGHTSIDE World Tour 2022 has announced North American dates. The shows begin May 18 at Jacksonville, FL’s Daily’s Place and then continue through early September. Locally, the tour comes to PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel (May 28) and Waterfront Music Pavilion in Camden (June 4). Caamp is the special guest for both Jersey shows.

New Jersey's FRND CRCL have released the new single"LIFEOFTHEPARTY." This song will make you feel alive as it delves into the ironic lyricism of feeling alone while being at a party. It’s somewhat of an anthem for the introverted free spirits of the world who like to have their own idea of a good idea. It’s the heaviest song FRND CRCL has to offer to date and aligns with aspects of Nirvana and UK art-pop purveyors, Blur.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center
(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
