ON releases self-titled album via Indiestructable Records

College rock / power trio ON have released their self-titled 'ON' album, via Indiestructable Records, which ON guitarist Steve Fall says is "a document of friendship navigating explores in pain, and hope. Looking at the world with a collaborative effort to document what we see, witness and feel through songwriting and chemistry as a band."

Franz Nicolay from The Hold Steady to Release Album on Don Giovanni Records

Don Giovanni Records has announced that singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Franz Nicolay will release his new album New River on November 11, 2022. Nicolay is known as a longtime member of The Hold Steady and World/Inferno Friendship Society as well as for countless featured performances both live and in-studio with other artists including Against Me!, Dresden Dolls, Worriers and more. 

Anthony D'Amato Releases Video For "Long Haul"

(BROOKLYN, NY) -- Critically acclaimed songwriter Anthony D'Amato released a video for his addictive new single, “Long Haul.”  Shot entirely on Super 8 by filmmaker David Dibble, the epic video features a century old steam train, a 1929 Ford Model A, and a horse named Warrior joining D’Amato on a larger-than-life journey through San Juan Mountains outside Durango, Colorado.

Indigo Girls to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at 21st Annual Americana Honors & Awards show

(NASHVILLE, TN) -- Indigo Girls will be honored with The Spirit of Americana Award for lifetime achievement as songwriters and recording and touring artists as well as outspoken social activists during a televised ceremony at the historic Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, September 14. The awards ceremony serves as the hallmark event of Americanafest produced by the Americana Music Association (the AMA), which takes place this year on Sept. 13-17 in Nashville, TN. 

Another Successful Summer For Horizon Foundation Sounds of the City

(NEWARK, NJ)  -- Every summer for twenty-five years New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) has celebrated summer with its annual summer concert series known as Horizon Foundation Sounds of the City. NJPAC presents FREE; world-class performances merged with culture and the arts on the NJPAC campus for the entire community to come together to dance, listen, eat, and meet new friends.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
