Asbury Park Music Foundation Expands "Music Saved My Life" Youth Programs to Red Bank Charter School

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Asbury Park Music Foundation (APMF), in partnership with Lakehouse Music Academy (LHMA) has announced the execution of their 2023 goal to bring music education to kids beyond Asbury Park's borders in 2023. The Music Business & Technology (MB&T) Program and Core Band programs are now in place at Red Bank Charter School. This makes music education accessible to those students within the scope of their core curriculum and eliminates the need for transport to another location.

Anirudh Draws Thousands of Fans to Local Arenas for his Debut US Tour

(FORT LAUDERDALE, FL) -- Anirudh Ravichander, one of India's mega musical stars, is embarking on the US leg of his "Once Upon A Time" Worldwide Tour. Kicking off today, March 31st, 2023, in Washington DC at the EagleBank Arena, Anirudh and his unique 360 concert experience will then travel the country hitting six major U.S. cities before the final stop, at the Oakland Arena. Similar to the rest of the tour worldwide, these performances are selling out rapidly amid massive excitement among fans. The tour comes to the Prudential Center in Newark on April 1st.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters – with their special guest Charlie Sexton – have announced: "We're All Going On A Summer Holiday" – a 23 date tour produced by Live Nation. Commencing on June 7th in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, the tour includes stops at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and the Beacon Theatre in NYC. Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets will open all of the coast-to-coast dates.

Natalie Merchant releases "Tower of Babel" single

Natalie Merchant's new single "Tower of Babel" is out now alongside a new video. "As much as I had wanted to not let events in the world intrude," Merchant says of the song, "I couldn't disregard the prevailing atmosphere of fear and confusion that we have been living in as a result of the pandemic, climate crisis, economic instability, insane politics, violent insurrection and the shocking fallout from the conservative-stacked reactionary Supreme Court."

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
