The Gaslight Anthem Releases First New Single In 9 Years

The Gaslight Anthem has shared "Positive Charge," the first single on their own Rich Mahogany Recordings label, distributed via Thirty Tigers. Produced and mixed by GRAMMY® Award-winner Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Kurt Vile) at his Tarquin Studios in Connecticut, the gloriously optimistic track marks the band's first new music together in almost a decade.

Low Cut Connie to Release "Art Dealers" Album

South Philadelphia-based rock 'n' roll artist Low Cut Connie announced his new album Art Dealers will be released on September 8 via Contender Records. "This record is all kink and no shame," explains Adam Weiner. “With Low Cut Connie, I try to create a safe space for you to just absolutely get your freak on.”

New Monthly Salsa series comes to Hoboken's Sinatra Park

(HOBOKEN, NJ) -- Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to move as the brand new Salsa series Música Hoboken comes to Sinatra Park. The Hoboken Business Alliance has teamed up with Riverview Jazz, the local non-profit that produces the Jersey City Jazz Festival and PierFest to bring an exciting new series to the Hoboken waterfront. The monthly events will take place April 28, May 19, June 23 and will feature a world-class salsa band, DJ, and dance instruction. The events are free to the public.

Steve Forbert's "Streets of This Town" to Be Reissued on Vinyl and CD, Newly Remixed and Remastered

Troubadour Steve Forbert's acclaimed 1988 album, Streets of This Town, will be back in print on CD and 140-gram vinyl for the first time in 28 years. The re-issue, Streets of Town: Revisited has been remixed and remastered and will be released through Blue Rose on June 2; the CD format contains a bonus track, "They're Out To Break Us." The album is notable as Forbert's first opportunity to record and release an album after several years of legal struggles with his then-label, CBS Records.

2023 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru Releases Initial Lineup

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- The initial lineup of artists performing in its 2023 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru has been announced by Philadelphia public radio station WXPN. The 30th annual outdoor music festival produced by WXPN will take place from Friday, September 22 through Sunday, September 24 at Wiggins Park on the Camden, New Jersey waterfront, directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
