Light of Day Winterfest 2024 to Take Place January 12-28
(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Light of Day Foundation has announced WinterFest 2024, the annual music festival taking place throughout January in Asbury Park, Red Bank, Montclair, Philadelphia, New York City and Rockland County. "Bob's Birthday Bash", headlined by Max Weinberg’s Jukebox, will take place on Saturday, January 20 at the Count Basie Center's Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre. Performances run from January 12-28, 2024.
Colossal Street Jam Releases New Single "No Way to Live"
New Jersey rock band Colossal Street Jam has released their single, "No Way to Live," with Independent, taste-maker label, Fretbar Records. With soaring vocals from front-man Gene Potts, Hammond organ by Eric Safka, melodic guitar in the talented hands of Sal Marra, and a rhythmic foundation from Dave Halpern, this new release has a music video slated for release in late November, followed by the full album in 2024.
Southpaw Honored at 2023 Josie Music Awards
(NASHVILLE, TN) -- New Jersey-based country music trio Southpaw was named "Country Group of the Year" at the 2023 Josie Music Awards, held October 22nd at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The group was also awarded Modern Country Song of the Year honors for its single "Your Name," which was released earlier this year.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center
(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
