Banquets to Release First Album in Nearly A Decade
(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- The last we heard from Banquets, they announced their third and final LP, "Spit at the Sun." The Jersey City quartet had decided to hang it up after years of shows and several releases with Black Numbers. They played their final show in February of 2016 and the members went their separate ways, parting on good terms but with the understanding that the realities of life made it difficult to carry the banner any further.
Summerbruise releases "Infinity Guise"
The wait is finally over. Your favorite Indianapolis-based "fake emo" band, Summerbruise, has released their long-awaited record, Infinity Guise. This is the first project put out after signing with the legendary punk label SideOneDummy Records earlier this year. In true Summerbruise fashion, Infinity Guise, perfectly rides the line between self-deprecating humor and emotional turmoil. It's emo poetry for the perpetually overwhelmed, confused, and emotionally hungover.
