Jack Johnson to Play Shows in NJ, PA, NY

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Multi-platinum recording artist Jack Johnson brings the SURFILMUSIC Tour to the local area with shows at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ on June 21st; Highmark Mann Center in Philadelphia on June 27th; and Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY on June 28, 2026.

Tiny Cities to Release First Single From Upcoming EP

Tiny Cities will release the EP Beginning of the End on January 16, 2026. This is a thought provoking indie record from two of New Jersey's most prolific singing song-writing duos - Melissa Anthony and Dennis King.

Jersey Bluesman releases "My Mississippi Roots"

James Barnes — known to audiences throughout the region as JB — carries the blues in his blood. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in New Jersey after his family moved east in 1965, he grew up steeped in the sound and spirit of the music. On his father's side, JB traces his lineage back to Mississippi, the wellspring from which so much of this tradition flows. Those "Mississippi Roots" became more than just family history; they formed the bedrock of his artistic calling.

Monmouth University Strikes A New Chord With Endowed Scholarship Honoring Thom Bell and David Steinberg

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The creation of the David J. Steinberg and Thomas R. Bell Endowed Scholarship, will hit all the right notes at Monmouth University. It will be an eternal tribute to two men whose friendship and collaboration in Philadelphia composed one of the most enduring harmonies in American R&B/Soul music history. The purpose of this scholarship is to keep their melody alive through the voices of students. 

Richard Marx Announces New Album "After Hours"

GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, producer, and best-selling author Richard Marx has announced his new album After Hours, arriving January 16, 2026, following 2022's Songwriter. Alongside the announcement, Marx shares swaggering new single "Big Band Boogie" (feat. Kenny G), a swinging, late-night romp that introduces the album's cinematic jazz palette. Other featured guests on the album include Rod Stewart, Chris Botti, Randy Waldman, Tom Scott, Drea Tomè & more.
