Wharton Performing Arts School Hosts LP Sale Fundraiser
(BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ) -- The Wharton Performing Arts School (PAS) will host an LP Sale Fundraiser, February 9-14, 2025 at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights. The LP sale features nearly 800 records spanning multiple genres, including Classical, folk, pop, and Broadway recordings.
Spin Doctors Announce First New Studio Album in 12 Years
90s alt-rock icons the Spin Doctors announced their first studio LP in 12 years: Face Full of Cake, out April 11, 2025 via Capitol Records. They also released the album's first single "Still A Gorilla" and its accompanying music video. The track finds the band showcasing a noisier, heavier sound but with the same sense of humor they've come to be known for. Inspired by the hard-hitting energy of Robyn's "Konichiwa Bitches," the track finds the long-running group exploring new territory after 35+ years.
Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music Issues Call for Papers: Born to Run at 50
(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music (BSACAM; Springsteen's official repository) and Wayne D. McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences invite you to submit paper and/or panel abstracts for a scholarly conference devoted to the life, work, and influence of "The Boss" in honor of the 50th anniversary of the landmark album, Born to Run. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, March 15, 2025.
