From the shallow depths of Hanover, PA, Twist & Writhe are five guys about the same age who found each other after playing all their lives in various bands, playing various genres.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif">They have been called ‘Grimy Power Pop’ and ‘Post Hardcore’ and compared to bands like Hot Water Music, Alexisonfire, Drug Church and Foo Fighters, but with something that only they could mash together.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif">"Cover Me" quickly came together and started feeling right to the band straight away, so they played it out a few times and got a great response. After self producing their last EP at the band's rehearsal space, they decided it was going to be their first studio recording together. "Cover Me" was recorded at ‘The Bombshelter’ in Red Lion, PA with producer Scott Gross of From Autumn to Ashes and CJ Wood.</span></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><iframe seamless="" src="https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/track=2789252221/size=large/bgcol=ffffff/linkcol=0687f5/tracklist=false/artwork=small/transparent=true/" style="border: 0; width= 600px; height: 120px;">Cover Me by Twist & Writhe</iframe></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif; font-size:18px">In 2019 Jay Stillman (bass) and Leighton McCleaf (drums), whom played together previously, answered an ad from the dueling guitar team of Alex Slagle and Ben Vardjan who had started Twist & Writhe having known each other and played off and on since they were teenagers. Starting off as an instrumental project, the formula wasn't complete until they found vocalist Arthur Nusser in 2023.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia,serif; font-size:18px">Experiencing the sound, a new need to roar with this new, energetic creation evolved.
