Tuesday, July 9 - bergenPAC presents Asia: The Heat of the Moment Tour. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- Asia brings The Heat of the Moment Tour to Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 7:00pm. Tickets range from $59-$199.

Wednesday, July 10 - bergenPAC presents UB40. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- UB40 is out on a summer U.S. tour celebrating the release of the iconic pop-reggae band's 45th anniversary album, UB45. The four-time Grammy® nominated band brings the tour to the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 7:00pm.

Saturday, July 13 - Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders to Headline 2024 Count Basie Center Summer Gala. (RED BANK, NJ) -- Pretenders, the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame band, will headline the 2024 Count Basie Center Summer Gala on Saturday, July 13th at the Basie Center’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre in Red Bank. Hits like "Brass in Pocket," "Stop Your Sobbing," "Don't Get Me Wrong," and "Back on the Chain Gang" have made the band an integral part of classic rock radio each day. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, July 13 - 19th Annual Sourland Mountain Festival preview. (RINGOES, NJ) -- Unionville Vineyards presents the 19th Annual Sourland Mountain Festival on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 3:00pm to 8:30pm. This year's lineup is headlined by the Matt O'Ree Band and includes performances by Christine Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz, The Adventures of Matte Black, and Tony & The Trees.

Saturday, July 13 - State Theatre New Jersey presents The Moody Blues' John Lodge. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents The Moody Blues' John Lodge on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 8:00pm. John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter, and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, will be live in concert at STNJ, performing the music of The Moody Blues and the iconic album Days of Future Passed. Tuesday, July 16 - Count Basie Center for the Arts presents RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles featuring Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour tracks. (RED BANK, NJ) -- Count Basie Center for the Arts presents RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 7:30pm. This is an electrifying concert experience celebrating the timeless music of the legendary fab four. (NEWARK, NJ) -- One year after announcing her highly anticipated return to the road with her ninth concert tour, Together Again, five-time GRAMMY®️ Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame®️ Inductee Janet Jackson reveals she will be adding 35 dates to the run. In addition, Nelly will join Jackson on tour across all dates as her special guest. Produced by Live Nation, the new leg of this tour will start in summer 2024, and include a stop at Prudential Center in Newark on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Thursday, July 11 - NJPAC's Sounds of the City presents Brazilian Percussionist Cyro Baptista. (NEWARK, NJ) -- World Renowned Brazilian Percussionist Cyro Baptista to Lead CHAMA Ensemble at NJPAC's Horizon Sounds of the City on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Chambers Plaza (1 Center Street) in Newark, NJ – Experience an Evening of a Fusion of Cultural Rhythms. Showtime is 5:00pm. This is a free outdoor concert.

Friday, July 12 - Slighty Stoopid and Dirty Heads to Perform Shows in Holmdel and Camden. (CAMDEN, NJ) -- Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads announced their 2024 Slightly Dirty Summer Tour across the United States. Produced by Live Nation, the 23-date run includes stops at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Friday, July 12, 2024 (with Common Kings and The Elovaters on the bill as well) and the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Sunday, July 21, 2024 (the bill also includes The Elovaters).

Friday, July 12 - Mercer County's $5 Friday Summer Concerts are Back!. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Central Jersey families don't need to head to the shore in order to have a great time this summer. The Mercer County Park Commission's $5 Friday Summer Concert Series promises memorable experiences for residents of all ages.

Saturday, July 13 - Remember Jones and Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country to Headline 2024 Maplewoodstock Music and Arts Festival. (MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- The annual free two-day Maplewoodstock Music and Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, 2024. Music begins at noon each day and ends around 9:30pm. Remember Jones and Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country are the festival's headliners.

Saturday, July 13 - Music Box at the Borgata presents Amos Lee. (ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Amos Lee comes to the Music Box at the Borgata on Saturday, July 13, 2024 as part of his US 2024 tour, spanning the country with dates in June, July, and September. Fans at shows get a preview of his stunning forthcoming 11th studio album, Transmissions, the artist's first body of original work in over two years. The LP is a testament to vulnerability, with his live shows creating an open, emotional space for performer and audience. Showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, July 13 - West Windsor Arts presents "Summer Music and More" Free Concert Series. (PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ) -- West Windsor Arts is once again presenting its "Summer Music and More" series of three free concerts at Nassau Park Pavilion (behind Panera Bread) in Princeton. The series offers three distinct concerts, representing different genres of music, in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Each event also features art activities that both kids and adults will enjoy.

Saturday, July 13 - The Best of World Music Returns to Princeton's Pettoranello Gardens Amphitheater. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- Blue Curtain, a Princeton summer tradition, returns to Pettoranello Gardens Amphitheater with two free concerts in July - Dobet Gnahoré on July 13th and Nanny & Dani Asiss on July 20th. The venue is located at Route 206 and Mountain Avenue. In case of rain or extreme heat, the shows will be moved to the Princeton High School Performing Arts Center at Franklin Avenue and Walnut Lane.

Saturday, July 13 - Seaside Heights presents Michael Franti & Spearhead with special guest Trevor Hall. (SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ) -- Michael Franti & Spearhead with special guest Trevor Hall will perform on The Beach Stage in Seaside Heights on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 6:30pm.  The stage is located at Blaine Avenue and the Boardwalk.

Today's Brightest Young Jazz Musicians will Unite to Celebrate International Jazz Day at NJPAC on April 26

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), the state's anchor cultural institution, will celebrate International Jazz Day on Sunday, April 26, 2026, with a free musical celebration featuring 50+ young local musicians performing on the iconic NJPAC stage. Showtime is 4:00pm.

Bassist Martin Wind Adds Piano to His Gravity Trio for Area Performances

German-born bassist and composer Martin Wind has built an extensive résumé with more than 20 albums as a leader or co-leader and performance credits with legends such as clarinetist Buddy DeFranco, guitarist Pat Metheny, alto saxophonist Phil Woods, harmonicist Toots Thielemans, and many others. He has regularly performed at some of the top jazz venues in the world. Upcoming performances include release performances for his newest record September (2026, Laika Records) with his Gravity Trio and special guest Glenn Zaleski on piano -- April 9 at Smalls Jazz Club in New York; April 10 at the Puffin Cultural Forum in Teaneck, NJ; and at the Deer Head Inn in Delaware Water Gap, PA, April 11.

Monmouth County Park System presents 2026 Creative Arts Festival on May 9th

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Park System is hosting its annual Creative Arts Festival on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00am-4:00pm at Thompson Park. This celebration of the arts features more than 50 specially selected artists in a variety of mediums such as pottery, painting, jewelry, and more. This family-friendly festival also includes live music, engaging art demonstrations, and children’s art-based activities.

Boots in the Borough to Take Place April 18th

(WASHINGTON, NJ) -- With country music and line dancing kicking all day, it'll be a family friendly fun-filled day of dancing, dancing and more dancing when Washington (Warren County) hosts Boots in the Borough on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The free event, which will take place in Downtown Washington from 11:00am to 7:00pm, is the first of its kind in the region.
