The Certs releases new single "Just For Show"

Surrey's emerging rock outfit The Certs returned on April 2nd with their powerful new single "Just For Show", a bold release that continues the band's rapid rise. Recorded in Manchester by Tom Chapman of New Order, the track captures the tension between image and reality, exploring the façades people build and the truths lurking just beneath the surface.

With driving guitars, urgent melodies and a chorus that hits like a spark to dry wire, Just For Show finds the band at their most confident and cinematic yet, pairing raw emotion with the widescreen energy that is quickly becoming their signature.

Fronted by Carter Elvis Robinson, The Certs have built serious momentum over the past 18 months, earning repeated support from BBC Introducing, including airplay for their last three singles, a performance on the BBC Surrey & Sussex Live Lounge, and a festive recording for the BBC’s Christmas programming.

Their growing live reputation has already seen them take to stages at Reading FC Stadium and London’s Troubadour, underlining their rise from Surrey favourites to a band with eyes fixed far beyond their home turf.
