Singer-songwriter Shane Cooley's new single, "River Road" takes a mellow, thoughtful cruise through modern Americana. Although the song was originally penned as a portrait of Cooley's home in the Northern Neck of Virginia, "River Road" transcends to many places bearing the same name.

Cooley self-produced “River Road” at his home studio, Cooleyland Recording. The song features his father, Jack, on harmony vocals and German guitarist Fritz Kunzmann, with Cooley performing the rest of the instruments. “River Road” was mastered by Grammy-winning mastering engineer Fred Kevorkian in Brooklyn, NY.

“River Road” was released on Friday, November 8 on all digital music platforms.

Shane Cooley has been writing, recording and performing music for over two decades. His music has received accolades from publications including Billboard and Songwriting Magazine, and his songs continue to receive international radio airplay. Cooley grew up in rural Virginia and graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor's in English Literature. After nearly a decade immersed in the music scene of Austin, TX, where he still performs semi-annually, Cooley returned home to Virginia to focus on his studio. He frequently performs and tours behind his music.
