Ocean County Library hosts Patriot Day concert with Gary Nokes

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- In celebration of Patriot Day, vocalist/acoustic guitarist Gary Nokes will perform a live concert on Wednesday, September 7, at the Ocean County Library Toms River Branch.  The concert begins at 6:30pm. Gary will perform a selection of traditional and contemporary patriotic songs in Mancini Hall.

He is familiar to Shore concertgoers through performances with the Lamplighters, the Francis Albert Band, the Ragtimers, Ocean County String Band, Top Hat String Band, and numerous rock and jazz ensembles.

He tailors more than 800 songs in his repertoire for all ages, and provides themed entertainment and music therapy in many Ocean County senior communities and assisted-living centers.

Serbian Cellist Maja Maja Bogdanovic to Perform with Princeton Symphony Orchestra

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Serbian cellist Maja Maja Bogdanovic makes her anticipated Richardson Auditorium debut with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) at concerts the weekend of May 9-10, 2026. Designated as this year's Edward T. Cone concert, the program features Ms. Bogdanović in performances of Camille Saint-Saëns' melodic Concerto No. 1 in A Minor, Op. 33. Other works include Aaron Copland's Letter from Home and Sergei Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major, Op. 100. Both concerts are conducted by Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov.
