originally published: 09/12/2024

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Rocktoberfest 2024 will take place on Saturday, September 14 in Millburn's Taylor Park. This is a music festival fundraiser featuring live music, food and drinks, shopping and lots of fun activities for the entire family. It runs from 11:30am to midnight.

The event showcases over 30 Music Bands/Solo Artists playing on multiple stages throughout the day and into the night.  Check out the complete list of performers and set times below. For information on the performers, click here.

Their Kid's Zone has activities for pre-K to age 18 including Arts & STEM Activities • Inflatables • Rides • Carnival Games • Face Painting • And More!

The Fitness Zone offers a preview of the offerings from local gyms, trainers, fitness studios, and athletic facilities.

This year, their Inclusivity Zone has expanded to a wider range of inclusive offerings: the Low Sensory Zone has acoustic music in a quiet and air-conditioned space inside the Bauer Center. New to the festival, just outside of the low sensory room are NJ Special Olympics activities, including an obstacle course and a basketball demo. At dusk, there will also be a silent disco out on the tennis courts for those who want to get their groove on to the beats of a DJ playing a variety of music on different channels.

You'll find an assortment of Food & Shopping options from local eateries and retail stores plus lots of great handmade goods and unique products in their new Artisan Village.

A Beer Garden is for 21 and over and adults can enjoy beer, wine and non-alcoholic options while listening to music near the main stage.

Don't miss their Acoustic Stage at Boxcar Bar & Grill where you can enjoy brunch starting at 11:30am, then dinner, drinks, and our after-party until midnight.

It's a community-building FUNdraiser that the whole family can enjoy. So come out and eat, drink, rock, play, dance, shop and laugh! Proceeds from the day’s events benefit the Millburn Education Foundation which supports Millburn Township schools, teachers and students.

EVENT PREVIEWS

Winners

Winners of the Spring 2026 New Jersey Film Festival Competition Announced!

The Competition component of the Spring 2026 New Jersey Film Festival has just concluded! Overall, we had a good festival this year.  We had a few screenings that were very well attended and a bunch with lower turnouts but that happens every festival for a variety of reasons.  The in-person show attendance was about the same as our Festival last year, but the online viewership is what has kept us afloat financially since COVID broke in 2020. All the Official Selection works of the Spring 2026 New Jersey Film Festival were selected by a panel of judges including media professionals, journalists, students, and academics. These judges selected the 33 finalists which were publicly screened at our Festival. The finalists were selected from over 600 works submitted by filmmakers from around the world. In addition, the judges chose the Prize Winners in conjunction with the Festival Director. Here below are the winners of the Festival.
