Makin Waves Song of the Week: "In Deep Lakes We Settle" by Spring Ahead, Fall Apart

“In Deep Lakes We Settle” from Spring Ahead, Fall Apart’s full-length debut album, “Blanket Statements,” is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.

The Jersey emo band Spring Ahead, Fall Apart recently dropped their full-length debut album, “Blanket Statements.”

The LP’s third single, “In Deep Lakes We Settle," is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.

As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “In Deep Lakes We Settle” also can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on March 22 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com. If you miss it, you can tune in any time in the archives at The Penguin and Mixcloud.

“It’s a song about your relationship with your father/parents and how that evolves in your late 20s and 30s in regard to dealing with loss, love and the rest of life,” the band said.
