Lyle Lovett and Chris Isaak to Perform at Scottish Rite Auditorium

originally published: 09/15/2023

(COLLINGSWOOD, NJ) -- Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett's fall tour, which kicks off at New York’s Carnegie Hall, comes to the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood on Saturday, October 7th. Chris Isaak is also on the bill. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm.

Whether touring with his Large Band, Acoustic Group, or in conversation and song format, Lovett’s live performances show not only the breadth of the Texas legend’s deep talents, but also the diversity of his influences, making him one of the most compelling and captivating artists in popular music.

The upcoming shows will feature songs from across Lovett’s extensive catalog, including his acclaimed album, 12th of June, which was produced by Lovett and Chuck Ainlay and released last year. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the record further highlights Lovett’s ability to fuse elements of jazz, country, western swing, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. Of the album, The Wall Street Journal hails, “Few artists can bring all of these moods and sounds into one place and put a personal stamp on them all; Lyle Lovett does that.”

Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums. Since his self-titled debut in 1986, he has evolved into one of music’s most vibrant and iconic performers. Among his many accolades, besides four Grammy Awards, he was given the Americana Music Association’s inaugural Trailblazer Award, was named Texas State Musician and is a member of both the Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Association Hall of Fame and the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Tickets range from $59.50 to $125 and are available for purchase online.

EVENT PREVIEWS

Winners

Winners of the Spring 2026 New Jersey Film Festival Competition Announced!

The Competition component of the Spring 2026 New Jersey Film Festival has just concluded! Overall, we had a good festival this year.  We had a few screenings that were very well attended and a bunch with lower turnouts but that happens every festival for a variety of reasons.  The in-person show attendance was about the same as our Festival last year, but the online viewership is what has kept us afloat financially since COVID broke in 2020. All the Official Selection works of the Spring 2026 New Jersey Film Festival were selected by a panel of judges including media professionals, journalists, students, and academics. These judges selected the 33 finalists which were publicly screened at our Festival. The finalists were selected from over 600 works submitted by filmmakers from around the world. In addition, the judges chose the Prize Winners in conjunction with the Festival Director. Here below are the winners of the Festival.
