Jake Thistle releases "Live from the Transparent Clinch Gallery"

originally published: 06/28/2024

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- New Jersey singer-songwriter, Jake Thistle released his newest offering, Live from the Transparent Clinch Gallery, on June 28, 2024 via Gold'N Retriever Records – the independent label from industry veteran, Joe Riccitelli. The LP features twelve original tracks highlighting the songwriter's vivid imagery and flawless tenor, a cover of Don Henley's "The Heart of the Matter," all recorded in front of a sold-out, standing room only audience and performed by the songwriter alongside guitarist Gordon Brown.

The 20-year-old will hit the road this summer for a series of dates including an east coast run with UK singer-songwriter, St. Lundi with stops in New York City, Annapolis, New Hampshire, and Sommerville, MA.

Alongside the live album, Jake has released a concert video for his song, “Rolling Away,” via YouTube filmed at the Transparent Gallery.

"Playing live is such a major part of my life, so getting to share a bit of that experience on this record is incredibly important to me, especially at such a legendary and unique place as The Transparent Clinch Gallery. I'm thrilled to take these songs with me on the road this summer!"

Jake has been hired to perform in Europe and across the US, and for crowds of thousands at major music events. His first studio single, "Ghosted Road," garnered the Best Americana Song of 2022 Award from Indie Boulevard Magazine. The Hollywood Sentinel had this to say about Thistle's original, The Dreamer: "JAKE has it all. The looks, the voice, the talent, and even a great song here...be prepared to be blown away."
