Hi-Tide Recordings presents Summer Holiday 2022

originally published: 08/05/2022

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- After a 2 year hiatus, New Jersey-based “Surf, Lounge & Exotic Sounds” record label Hi-Tide Recordings has announced dates, music lineup & general on sale for Hi-Tide Summer Holiday: Asbury Park. The event returns August 19-21, 2022 to Asbury Lanes & The Asbury.

Hi-Tide co-founders Magdalena O’Connell & Vincent Minervino activate all spaces within the iconic music venue & hotel to create an immersive escape with live music, an exclusive tropical cocktail menu, panoramic rooftop happy hours, pool parties, late night record hops, vendor markets, seminars & more.

This year’s music lineup features Los Straitjackets, Southern Culture on the Skids, Messer Chups, Man or Astro-Man?, Black Flamingos, Televisionaries, Slowey and The Boats, The Swingin’ Palms, Charlie Halloran and The Tropicales.

Originally Asbury Park Surf Music Festival, the event began in 2014 as a gathering of bands, fans, artists & vendors from the Tri-State area who shared a passion for surf music & tropical cocktails. Since then, the event has grown into one of the largest of its type in the world.

“We are so excited for this year,” says O’Connell. “After 2 years away, we just can’t wait to spend the weekend with our artists & friends in Asbury Park.”

Says Minervino of this year’s lineup, “It might be our best yet. We have some good friends returning, a few acts that have been highly requested for years, and some up-and-coming Hi-Tide artists that are surely next-generation headliners.”

Hi-Tide Recordings is an international record label and lifestyle brand based in Freehold, New Jersey, USA. Founders Vincent Minervino and Magdalena O’Connell tour the world as vinyl DJs and event curators, and produce their very own Hi-Tide “Holiday” series of music & cocktail weekenders.
