Beth Hubbard releases "Nothing New"

originally published: 09/29/2025

Beth Hubbard is one of the UK's most compelling emerging singer-songwriters, known for her rich, powerful vocals and emotionally charged songwriting. Her latest single, "Nothing New," was released on September 26, 2025.

Drawing comparisons to Hayley Williams and Alanis Morissette, Beth blends the raw energy of alternative rock with sharp pop sensibilities, taking inspiration from artists like Paramore, HAIM, Chappell Roan, and Holly Humberstone.

A former Nottinghamshire's Got Talent winner, Beth worked with producer Ricky Farguson on "Nothing New," which was released through Big Condo Records.

The music video was directed by Chase Johnston Lynch; camera by Royzy Rothschild; and edited by JJ productionsz.

Hailing from East Yorkshire, Beth began her musical journey at the age of 10 when she first picked up a guitar. By 15, she had become a regular fixture on the local music scene, performing her original songs and standout covers at venues and on live radio shows across the region. Her distinct voice, stage presence, and lyrical depth quickly marked her as a rising talent.

Beth's sound fuses punchy indie-rock influences with polished pop production, providing a powerful backdrop for lyrics that are both deeply personal and socially conscious. Her 2020 debut EP, Sapphic—produced by Strange Reality Music Productions—earned critical attention for its heartfelt storytelling and bold sonic identity. The EP is available on all major streaming platforms.
