The Association to Perform at Newton Theatre on December 4th

(NEWTON, NJ) -- In 1967, The Association made history by being the first band anywhere to open a rock festival - the now historic, Monterey Pop Festival. One of the most successful bands to come out of the 60’s, they have sold millions of records, tapes, CDs and DVDs as well as earned a number of achievements including a Golden Globe nomination in 1970 for Best Original Song - Goodbye Columbus. The band will perform at The Newton Theatre on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 8:00pm.

The Association are coming to The Newton Theatre on the heels of their 2018 tour that sold out venues across the U.S. and featured The Association sharing the stage with greats like Three Dog Night, The Turtles, and The Cowsills. The Association Fans will rejoice to hear the songs they love such as “Windy”, “Cherish”, "Along Comes Mary" and many, many more. 

The Association has also received RIAA certifications for 6 gold and 3 platinum records. Their album, THE ASSOCIATION GREATEST HITS (Warner Brothers) is now double platinum and continues to be one of the longest best-selling albums in the history of the company.
