"New Year | Año Nuevo" Benefit Compilation Features NY/NJ Musicians

(BLOOMFIELD, NJ) -- It began as a challenge to New Jersey and New York musicians: create and record an original song during the month of December 2021 using "New Year | Año Nuevo" as inspiration. There were no compositional boundaries. The result became a benefit compilation album produced by Cocotazo Media that was released on December 30, 2021.

"New Year | Año Nuevo features songs by The Cucumbers, Kassaye Selassie, Christian Davis, Aquino, Dave Kleiner, Ancient Babies, and The Brooklyn Bystander. The album is available for $5 (or higher if you'd like to donate more) and is available for purchase online.

All proceeds from the album will benefit ConPRmedtidos "an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization founded in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2012." Their mission is to "... create a stable, productive, and self-sufficient Puerto Rico.

The compilation was produced by Cocotazo Media; coordinated and mastered by Michael Aquino with art by Milena Mazurek and layout by Michael Aquino.

Cocotazo Media is an award-winning, Latinx-founded company that produces fiction podcasts, music, and educational audio resources.
