(WYCKOFF, NJ) -- The Wyckoff Family YMCA presents BStreet Band: A Tribute to the Boss in an outdoor concert on Sunday, October 24 at 3:00pm. From the heart of the Jersey shore, they were one of the first bands in the world to do a unique tribute to a live performer and have continued to do so for decades.
The BStreetBand debuted as “Backstreets“ on May 19, 1980 in Asbury Park, NJ for an audience of over 2000 Bruce fans. Nearly 6,000 performances later, they are still the hardest working tribute band on the circuit with 175+ shows per year throughout the country. The band includes Willie Forte (Vocals, Keyboards); Glenn Stuart (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Congas); Steve Baranian (Vocals, Lead Guitar); Steve Pozzelanti 'Poz' (Drums); Dan Cipriano (Sax, Vocal); and Steve ‘The Count’ Lopresto (Bass Guitar).
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band has one of the most dedicated and fiercely loyal fans bases. That sense of support, the band playing songs spot on, and playing together for decades led director Paul Kaplan to capture them in a documentary entitled Almost Boss.
Tickets are $30 and are available for purchase online. Gates open at 2:00pm, concert at 3:00pm. Please bring your own chair and refreshments. Note: you must purchase 2 seats. The concert takes place outside the Wyckoff Family YMCA is located at 691 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff, New Jersey.
