WBGO Releases Its Fall Preview

More than a year and a half into the coronavirus pandemic, musicians are going out on tour, and even back in the clubs (taking all due precautions). Festivals have set their sights on a triumphant return, welcoming audiences in person again. Through it all, the music endures, finding ways to deepen and thrive. The evidence is all around us — particularly in the 88 notable releases and events they’ve handpicked for WBGO's Fall Preview.
The annual assemblage includes impressions penned by WBGO's experienced and discerning announcers, as well as our Director of Editorial Content, Nate Chinen.
And in a first this year, WBGO has released a companion episode of the Jazz United podcast, hosted by Greg Bryant and Chinen. The episode features an in-depth discussion of some preview highlights from the duo who won Jazz Journalists Association's 2021 Jazz Podcast of the Year.
