(NEW YORK, NY) -- Jersey City blues-rocker Debra Devi plays Berlin Under A on Tuesday, November 2 at 8:30pm, with special guest Andy Burton (Little Steven & the Disciples of Soul, John Mayer) on keys. Granite to Glass opens at 6:30pm, and .kav plays at 7:30pm. This is a 21+ event.
Devi is “a supersonic fretburner who also writes hauntingly memorable songs” (JamBase). She jams with Gov’t Mule bassist Jorgen Carlsson on her EP A Zillion Stars Overhead, “a collection of dreamy blues-rockers and blistering psychedelic jams” (Relix).
The Jersey Journal adds "A Zillion Stars Overhead emphasizes Devi’s formidable guitar prowess, the beauty of her vocals, and the depth of her songwriting." Devi’s monthly Jamification Station livestream is hosted by American Blues Scene. She’s currently mixing the Jamification Station, Vol. 1 EP from ProTools recordings of the livestream.
